Pricing Questions
How much does junk removal cost? ▾
Pricing depends on the volume and type of items you need removed. We base our quotes on how much space your junk takes up in our truck. We'll give you a free, upfront estimate before any work begins — no surprises, no pressure to commit.
Do you charge for estimates? ▾
Never. All estimates are completely free and come with zero obligation. You can describe your job over the phone, text us photos, or have us come take a look — whichever works best for you.
Are there any hidden fees? ▾
No. We're upfront about everything. The price we quote you is the price you pay. We don't add fees after the fact for disposal, fuel, or labor. Honest pricing is something we take seriously.
What payment methods do you accept? ▾
We accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and most major credit cards. Payment is due upon completion of the job.
Scheduling Questions
Do you offer same-day service? ▾
Yes, often! We typically have same-day availability, especially if you call in the morning. Text or call us at (216) 505-9772 and we'll let you know our earliest opening.
What are your hours? ▾
We operate Monday–Friday 7am–7pm, Saturday 8am–5pm, and Sunday by appointment. We understand that weekends are when most people tackle big projects, so we try to accommodate Saturday and Sunday requests whenever possible.
How far in advance do I need to book? ▾
For most jobs, we can schedule within 1–2 days. For larger projects like full estate cleanouts or commercial jobs, a few days of lead time helps us come fully prepared. That said — call us first, because we might be able to get to you sooner than you'd expect.
What if I need to reschedule? ▾
No problem at all. Life happens. Just give us a call or text as soon as you know and we'll find a new time that works for you. We don't charge cancellation fees.
Items & Services Questions
What items do you NOT take? ▾
We can't accept hazardous waste such as paint, chemicals, motor oil, propane tanks, pesticides, or medical waste. We're also unable to take items that are biohazardous. If you're unsure about a specific item, just ask us — we'll let you know or point you toward the right resource.
Do you take electronics? ▾
Yes! TVs, computers, printers, and other electronics are all things we can haul away. We make sure electronics are recycled properly through certified e-waste facilities rather than dumped in a landfill.
Do you do partial cleanouts, or do you need to take everything? ▾
We do both. We're happy to take everything in a space, or just specific items you point out. You're in control of what goes and what stays. We'll only remove what you tell us to.
Will you go inside my home or just pick up from the curb? ▾
We do full interior removal. Our crew will go room to room, up or down stairs, into basements and attics — wherever the items are. You don't need to move anything to the curb first.
Do you donate or recycle items? ▾
Yes, and we're proud of it. We donate usable furniture, clothing, and household items to local Cleveland charities whenever possible. Electronics are recycled through proper e-waste channels. Metals are recycled. We try hard to keep things out of the landfill.
Company Questions
Are you licensed and insured? ▾
Yes, absolutely. We are fully licensed and insured for both residential and commercial work in Ohio. You can have complete peace of mind when we're working on your property.
What areas do you serve? ▾
We're based in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood of Cleveland and serve all of Greater Cleveland and the surrounding areas including Parma, Parma Heights, Brooklyn, Garfield Heights, Lakewood, Strongsville, North Olmsted, Berea, and more. Not sure if we cover your area? Just call and ask — we're usually able to help.
Who actually shows up to do the work? ▾
Old Brooklyn Hauling & Junk Removal is a family business. When you call us, you talk to us directly. When we show up to your property, it's us — not a subcontractor or a random crew. That personal accountability matters to us.
Do I need to be present during the job? ▾
For most jobs, we prefer someone to be present or available by phone at the start so we can confirm exactly what goes. For regular customers or clearly scoped jobs, we can sometimes work independently — just talk to us about your situation and we'll find what works.
Just Give Us a Call
